telling your family you're pregnant.

so i saw these shirts online forever ago.  like literally years.  before we even were trying to have kids.  i bought them, because i knew it was how i wanted to tell our family, so we've been moving them from place to place with us.  

we decided to wait until christmas to tell our families.  it was a long couple of weeks, especially when i didn't feel so great.  [you start to run out of excuses.]  once it was finally time we came up with some reason they all needed to open them, "these are dumb gifts we got for you guys over the summer - but they're all the same so you have to open them at the same time."

i wish i could upload the video, because it is seriously the best response ever.  first, someone says, "oh cool, a white t-shirt."

then there was screaming, cheering, crying, more screaming.  

obviously, they didn't see it coming and they were just as surprised as we were!

we then got to do the same thing on skype with derek's family.  it was the same reaction!  

nobody felt like their presents could compete after that... ha.
