jim.

it was one of those laugh so hard it hurts nights.  my parents [and cousin allison] came over to take us to dinner.  zuppas was great and all, but it was after we came back that the real party started.  a simple game of quiddler was all it started as.  but knowing the competitive nature of my family, etc., it turned into quite the event.
dad wanted to win [of course] but i was [obviously] in the lead.  he played "jim" which is clearly a proper noun.  after much deliberation, an iphone dictionary, and a youtube video, we still didn't let dad play it.  but we found out that the fifth letter of the arabic alphabet is "jim" pronounced like "jeem."  and that's probably the first name of one of our future children.  jim, pronunced jeem, of course.
okay, it was totally one of those, you had to be there moments.  but it was one i never want to forget.  we were all laughing so hard there were tears running down our cheeks.
i love love love family game night.  that competitiveness adds a little spice to life.
