general conference.
a weekend filled with inspiration and the words of our prophet. this conference i went into it asking questions and seeking answers. in one spot of my journal i wrote, "this talk is my own personal miracle." conference gives us the help and answers that we need and a reassurance of hope and love.
midterms.
tests galore for those college kids. and the end of quarter for the middle schoolers. this means grading nonstop for me and a million reminders to turn things in.
fall break.
the glorious two days off of school [plus a day full of meetings.] we got to head down to dallas to visit derek's mom and soak in the last little bit of summer we could. sun burns, the state fair, and one great weekend. posts coming soon.
season changes.
the pretty colors on the trees, especially the mountains. this also includes things like putting away the summer clothes and getting out the winter ones. at first, this is fun, because it's like christmas when you forgot about those long-sleeve shirts you had. but then you realize that you are going to be freezing for the next four-ish months.
halloween.
i count down the days until i get to put out halloween decorations. i might have more decorations for halloween than i do for christmas. weird? and let's get real, who doesn't love a good dress up every once in a while.

Yay for General Conference, season changes and Halloween!!
