fairytales by derek.

last night as we were going to bed i asked derek to tell me a story.  i told him i wanted it to be a love story and start with once upon a time...

he began, "once upon a time there was this girl."
a:  "you mean a princess."
d:  "yes, a princess.  and she was totally hott!"
a:  "or the fairest in the land...."
d:  "okay, the fairest in the land.  and there were all these guys after her."
a:  "princes?"
d:  "yeah, princes i guess."
d:  "okay, but there was this one prince that she was totally digging.  and she would bump into him at the grocery store....dang it!....they probably don't have grocery stores in the neighborhood.... kingdom.... whatever...."
a:  dying of laughter by this point.
d:  "and there needs to be a cliffhanger, and i'm not going to tell you what it is because it's super secret."
a:  "or you just don't know what to even say next?"
d:  "maybe.  good night."

let's just say, he's going to need a little bit of practice before he starts telling stories to those future kids of ours.....ha.
so there you have it, fairytales by derek.

and they all lived happily ever after.
