surprise of the [half] century.

so both my parents are turning 50 this year.  and i had the genius idea to throw them a surprise party.

usually i'm really, really bad with surprises.  like i ask my husband if i can tell him what i'm getting him for christmas in november, because i just can't even stand it. so keeping this party a secret from my parents for OVER a month, brutal.  but it was a success and a complete surprise.
i had the best help crew ever.  super duper grateful for them.  the best gathering, with so many old & new friends.  happy birthday mom & dad!
