i had the opportunity to listen to some pretty amazing women speak this weekend. the first was ashley, from "the shine project." they had a utah event. her words were filled with reaching out towards others. that each of us have a purpose and can do so much good. i totally cried.
the next was women's conference. amazing, beauitful, awe-inspiring. read, listen, watch. i came home feeling so happy, so loved.
it's amazing how just getting together with others can boost us up. each saturday morning i go to piyo at the gym. it's early and hard to get out of bed. but i leave feeling so uplifted.
it's been 20 years since "the family: a proclamation to the world" was read by president gordon b. hinckley. i'm so glad it is such a source of inspiration and guidance. i believe in families.
