and then it was february.

maybe monthly posting will be a thing this year.
we're happy with this little life we are living.
our future often comes up in conversation, and where it will take us.
you are as much in the dark as we are.
we'll [maybe?] spend the summer in denver and derek will complete a masters degree next year.
or take the job offer derek got in texas.
but i'll plan to keep teaching the kids that fill my heart right up.
after that... ???

so far this month.
we've had the most perfect february weather i've ever witnessed.
i was sick for a week while derek was out of town and then i had a teacher conference.
[talk about ultimate grumpy.]
i gave my first detention.
we spent the valentines/president's day/no school weekend in st. george [with everyone else].
also, my coworkers are the best ever and make me laugh everyday.
i said my goodbyes to libby dubby and her darling children.
derek had an interview for a company in hawaii.  they couldn't have called a litttttle bit sooner? rude. [wish i was spending my summer there.]
i'm being a student for a day at work.  after, let's talk about being back in middle school for a minute.
also, teacher vs. student basketball game.  take me back to the golden years.
we sold the civic.  in like three hours.  that was crazy.
literal table tennis.
fixer upper with emily and project runway all-stars.
ward prom.  yes.
