an obligatory december post.

it's been cold.  like frigid, freezing, don't go outside cold.
plus, you may risk death by icicles.
it's about this time that i choose arizona for our future home.

my students took home their "babies" this weekend.
i probably laughed harder this week at school than i have this entire year.

christmas crafting all the day.
pajama pants, quilts, you name it...
pictures to come after the surprises are done. [ha.]

the bff's have the best group text going on.
we get a picture of baby ivy every day.
i pretty much drool over her cuteness.

i've watched a cheesy christmas movie four nights this week.
thank you netflix and abc family for fulfilling all my heartwarming, love-ending needs.

i love christmas and surprises so much.
but the suspense kills me.
derek has almost got me to tell him every single gift he's getting.

this week i cried over "the sound of music" and in the sports authority parking lot.
[no, i'm not pregnant.]

did i mention i'm really excited for christmas?
and a break from school?
and 2014?
