first day of work.

i've got a summer job working as a children's sewing teacher.

i had three highlights of the day.

one.

i was wearing a maxi skirt i made.  one girl asked me my favorite project.  i told her my skirt.

then she says, "oh my gosh!  it is SO cute.  it reminds me of something i'd find at tj maxx..."

i guess my sewing is tj maxx quality....ha.

two.

this conversation.

"it was sunny when i got baptized.  i just got baptized a couple weeks ago."

she then glances over with a huge smile and throws both arms up in the air.

three.

a chocolate milk in the fridge when i got home.
