  4. HAPPY DEREK DAY!!!!!!! Hope you two are out celebrating all day, but if you check in with your blog comments please give Derek a big birthday hug from Uncle Scott, Aunt Dee and Ian in Oregon. Karen sent the link to your blog at the end of November. I tried to post a comment then, but was having some glitch with my google account, or here or ?? and the comment never appeared. It was around the time you said you were busy with finals and graduation. CONGRATS on graduation, BTW!! You are way faster than my 20 year route : )

Anyway, love your blog. I've been keeping a few going. If you are really bored and want to check ours out, there's the one I use for our little family history--http://www.everynowthen.blogspot.com (check out a fetching 60s glasses pick of Karen and Grandma there tomorrow to celebrate Gma's bday!); and the one we have for cooking--http://barbaraskatmaikitchen.blogspot.com (don't be put off by the current recipe post [bleck!] as it was for Derek's cousin Brittany)

Happy Dec. 19. Someday I'll have to scan and post pics of Derek with cousin Erik in Juneau. They are both so cute. I'll let you know when...sometime in 2013!

Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
