gift of my dreams.

last night i received a gift from my parents. 

and this wasn't just any gift...

ever since i started college i would say, 

"the only thing i want when i graduate is my very own sewing machine...a good one."

not mom's. not sewing students. my very own.

it was my motivation for working hard.

there were so many times i dreamed of using that sewing machine.

they asked me to stop by after the family party last night for something.

i just figured it was derek's birthday gift.

dad picked up the huge box
[which mom had said was for dad earlier that day...]

as soon as he grabbed it i knew what it was.

i ripped off the wrapping paper.

i hugged the box.

and tears ran down my face.

i was just so happy.

i couldn't be more grateful for my beautiful new sewing machine.

it's everything i ever dreamed of and more.
