tears because seeing my husband for an hour a day isn't cutting it.
a bff reunion. so much happiness.
the relief of not having to make dinner due to a cousin party at the cannon.
loving my students one day, annoyed as can be the next.
feeling accomplished after marking off just one thing.
laughing with friends i haven't seen for far too long.
the death of a student. and "you are loved" notes on every single locker the next day.
waking up sick but going to school anyway.
some days you are just the "mean" teacher. and friday was one of those days.
laughter is always the best medicine.
movie in bed.
a "one verse" kind of a night because i can't stay awake for any more than that.
the happiness of a saturday morning.
derek cleaning the bathrooms. and pretty much the whole house.
breaking the bank with the grocery bill, and gas bill, and every other bill.
a box full of papers to grade. with netflix in the background.
